S. Smith, Broker/Owner of Sierra Nevada Realty Group Inc. has been actively
involved in Real Estate in the Carson Valley since 1978. Born in Reno,
Nevada and raised in beautiful Incline Village (Lake Tahoe) he chose the
Carson Valley for his home some 25 years ago due to its inherent beauty,
recreational opportunities and close proximity to Lake Tahoe. Recreation
is one of Cole's passions. He thoroughly enjoys golf, running marathons,
snow and water skiing and hiking.
A top producer for many years Cole ranks among the top echelon in the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors in total production volume. He is a member of the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors, Inc. and is past Chairperson of the Minden Tahoe Airport Advisory Committee. He is the immediate past President of the Northern Nevada Development Authority and serves on the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Douglas Count y Business Council and is a member of Urban Land Institute; one of the world's most respected and quoted organizations in the field of development, land use, and urban planning.
He is also a member of the Realtors Land Institute. Members of RLI specialize in selling, buying, managing, appraising and developing land for others. They are also active in urban and rural land brokerage; they are involved in ranch, farm, range, recreation, and transitional, commercial and industrial properties. Cole is also a member of the Residential Sales Council of the REALTORS National Marketing Institute. CRS is dedicated to the professionalism of the residential sales associate.
